Institute of Biology of the Karelian research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences invites You to take part in the International Conference "Atlantic salmon Salmo salar (biology, protection and regeneration)", which will be held on September 4-8, 2000 in Petrozavodsk.
The Conference is meant to bring together specialists in various disciplines involved in the study of Atlantic salmon biology: ontogenesis, embryo development, parr ecology, smotling, catadromous migrations and sea-life specifity, as well as the taxonomic status and origin of the species, genetic structure of populations, the state of stocks and problems of conserving the population pool in different parts of the range.
